Hotel Takamatsu is a fusion of a traditional ryokan and a modern hotel located in Kusatsu Onsen in Gunma Prefecture. It features over a hundred rooms with tatami mat flooring and futon beds. Each room comes with a flat-screen television, an electric kettle, and an en-suite bathroom. Yukata robes are also provided for the duration of the guests’ stay. One night may range from 5,000 to 35,000 JPY.

As Kusatsu Onsen is known for its acidic hot spring baths, Hotel Takamatsu offers the use of multiple bath options: large communal baths, open-air baths, and a private, reservable hot-spring bath in the gardens.

Hotel Takamatsu offers four restaurants for the guests, each with their own specialty kaiseki meals, and are well-known for their A5 grade Joshu beef, Gunma vegetables, and local sake. Guests may choose to partake in their meals on-site or in their rooms. For breakfast, sets are available instead of a buffet as a countermeasure against infections.

Hotel Takamatsu is accessible by taking the JR Limited Express from Ueno Station, Tokyo. A shuttle service is available for scheduling to and from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal. The establishment is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
