In the late Edo period, the Hamabe faction produced many disciples in Inaba, San’in region, and made the hidden power known to the world. Toshikazu Hamabe, the builder of the building, gained fame enough to compete with Masahide Mizushinko of Edo.
Tottori was born in Tottori in the 3rd year of Enkyo (1746), and his name was Hamabe Gonzaemon, which was later changed to Kurozaemon. I learned sword swords from Hioki and Kane, and cut the first name as Kanega and Toshinori. In the 5th year of Tenmei (1785), when he received Mino Mamoru at the age of 41, he changed his name to Tottori Clan.
During the Tenmei-Kansei period (1781-1800), he went to Edo twice and was taught by Masanao Matsumura, a swordsmith and sword expert, and Uoyoshi Kamada, a sword researcher. Partly because of my family’s relationship, I energetically studied the bizen-den, such as learning Bizen-den from Yusada in the land of Bizen Nagafune.
Strangely, four years older than Masahide Mizushinko, who was active in Edo at the same time, Toshikazu, who produced many disciples and made the hidden power known to the world, gained fame as a leader who is on a par with Masahide. It was. Like Masahide, the sword is made by forging Shin 15 pieces, and some of them are cut on the stem. He has also forged swords in Edo, Kyo, and Osaka, and is famous as the founder of the Kikuhana clove disorder, which is similar to the fist-shaped clove disorder of Kawachi Morikokusuke.
Masao Yamaura and Toshitaka Kawamura, the teacher of the Kiyomaru brothers, learned how to make swords from Toshitaka, a child of Toshiki, so they are commonly referred to as Kiyomaru’s roots.
This sword has a finely kneaded heathered skin that is well clogged, but it has a slightly sharp and delicate skin, and the straight blade with a bright and clear scent is beautifully baked. The delicate work related to the ground iron is also seen in the sword, and it is a young masterpiece of the sword that will later establish the Hamabe faction.
