The Toyoshu Takada faction is a group of swordsmiths who prospered in the Takada district of Bungo Province (currently near Tsurusaki, Oita City). Since then, it has come to be known as Fujiwara Takada. It has been highly evaluated as a practical sword since ancient times, and has been favored by many military commanders as a military sword.

This sword is well-kneaded and has a sharp texture, and the sword has an old-fashioned straight-edged sword up to the middle of both sides. From the middle to the top, Kowan Re and Mutsumi are burned, and the sandagare can be seen. It is a good material for learning about the transition of the sword.

The attached sword fittings are unified with the Ise lobster map of the bare copper ground, and the rim is an excellent item of Mitsuhiro’s name. As the pods deteriorate over time, cracks are seen in the coating of the pods. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to repaint.

Nude weight 749 grams. Weight 1076 grams that was put in the sword and the sheath was removed.
