Tsunamune in the author’s name is Date Tsunamune (1640-1711), the third feudal lord of the Sendai Domain in Mutsu Province. The sixth son of Date Tadamune, the second feudal lord, and the grandson of Date Masamune. He became a prince due to his brother’s death, and became a feudal lord at a young age with the death of his father, Tadamune, but was retired due to various factors such as uncle’s political intervention and conflict of vassals. .. After that, Tsunamune became a ghost in the Oi mansion in Shinagawa, and it is said that he devoted himself to art such as swords with Aizuchi as a comfort, and the swords made by Tsunamune are commonly called “Sendai Masamune”. I will. It is said that the hammer was shaken around Kanbun in the early Edo period.

This sword looks the same as a sword of general length when viewed only in the photo, but as the notation shows, the blade length is as short as a little over one shaku and seven minutes, and it is a rare child sword trained for children.
There is a blade in the center of the back of the finger, and the forged part is missing and the blade is spilled, but the ground iron is quite a faint reflection when viewed in detail.
However, probably because it was popular, there are many counterfeits with the Tsunamune inscription on several hits, and Professor Honma Kaoruyama says that he must see the works that are believed to be.
Since this is my first look, I am not sure about the authenticity of the inscription, so I will guide you at a low price that is rare but affordable, so please research the authenticity of the inscription by your own hands.

* We will guide you in the sword corner, but due to the dimensions, the registration certificate type notation is a wakizashi.

Nude weight 123 grams.
