General. Real name, Yuya Nakanishi. Born in 1984. 2007 (Heisei 19) Introduced to Yukihira Miyairi (Shohei), who lives in Tatsugoyama, Fukushima Prefecture, and Shohei Kudo. Independently opened in 2015, the Shodai Forging Ground was opened in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture. A young swordsmith who aims to train Japanese swords that are both practical and beautiful with Isao Machii, the owner of the sword shop.
This sword was made using old-fashioned tamahagane found in Iwate prefecture, and although there is still room for research on the composition of the sword, the small-grained skin is slightly textured and the scenery. Entering, a clear image stands. Hamon has a soft and soft scent, with a fine sand stream, and creates an old-fashioned atmosphere with gold streaks, small legs, extermination, and hot water running.
It was trained by an order from a Shinkage-ryu practitioner. Polishing has been performed by a good sharpener who has won a prize in the competition, and although there are some sink marks associated with the use of Iaido training, it was used only a few times and is almost unused. It is in a favorable condition.
The reason why the owner gave up this sword this time is very interesting, and it seems that it was regrettable to use it for Iai’s practice when looking at this sword, and it seems that it is unreasonable, so those who take good care of it for ornamental purposes I would like to give it to you.
Naturally, the sword is a custom-made product for this sword, and the handle is shorter than the eight-inch five-minute pattern that is now common. The tsuba is attached with a small one for the length of the blade, and the patterned wood is luxuriously dressed with a shark skin with a parent grain and finished with black paint. All metal fittings are made from period items.
All the work such as materials, polishing, and sword fittings are done in our shop, and especially the sword fittings are very practical and beautiful products that have been scrutinized by the owner Isao Machii. Considering the various construction costs that were initially incurred, this price is definitely a good deal! !!
Nude weight 845 grams. Weight 1,089 grams that was put in the sword and the sheath was removed.
