Tatsuo Ikeda. Born in 1938. Lives in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. Known as Masayuki Swastika, he lives in Sakai, a town of knives, and has experience in training practical knives such as knives, so he is a swordsmith who trains practical and beautiful swords.
This sword is made of unbroken ground iron that is tightly packed with small plates, and has a small boiling point on the finger surface. The back of the finger is a masterpiece that skillfully burns each other’s cloves, and the legs often enter the blade, and you can see the gold streaks. There are no notable disciplines, and it is a perfect sword for both ornamental and military swords.
There are long sink marks in some places, but since they are seriously polished, both the ground blades are easy to see, and if you don’t mind the sink marks, you don’t need to do anything.
We will consult with you about polishing the sink marks. Please feel free to contact us.
The attached sword fittings are renewed at our shop using modern metal fittings with a nice composition. Uses stone-grained coating suitable for sheathing during Iaido training. It is a product supervised by Isao Machii, a shopkeeper with a wealth of knowledge about Iaido.
Nude weight 823 grams. Weight 1051 grams that was put in the sword and the sheath was removed.
