The Echizen Chiyotsuru faction is said to be the ancestor of Chiyotsuru Kuniyasu, a native of the country, and therefore this faction is also called Echizen-rai. It started around Joji in the Nanbokucho period and prospered until the early Muromachi period, with Morihiro and others around Oei and Morifusa around Meiō.
The memorable name Chiyotsuru is appreciated, and it is also known to have been popular since ancient times for Kaju and ceremonial occasions.

This sword was found in rust, and all the work was done at our shop.
The beautiful appearance with a wide difference in the original shape has a shallow warp. It is presumed that this was because the warp was turned down, including the center, to make it suitable for slashing in later times. Therefore, some parts of the ridge are bent, but the old-fashioned style does not bother the flaws, and the stone is just a sword of the coming school, and it is an elegant sword with a bright scent, personally. To imagine the original appearance, I would like to see it a little older than Chiyotsuru.
Please enjoy the sharp and clear ground blade of the old sword that has just been polished for art appreciation.

Nude weight 832 grams.
