The Toyoshu Takada faction is a group of swordsmiths who prospered in the Takada district of Bungo Province (currently near Tsurusaki, Oita City). Since then, it has come to be known as Fujiwara Takada.
It has been highly evaluated as a practical sword since ancient times, and has been favored by many military commanders as a military sword.
This sword has a heathered ground iron, and the bright, small-boiled sword has a sword edge that boiled and the small legs are prosperous, giving it an old-fashioned atmosphere. Outstanding. The scabbard has no scratches or dents due to aging, and a wonderful rim with bamboo inlay on the quarter-polished ground made by Tomomichi Hirano is attached. The tsuba is also made of bamboo with a snow-covered openwork tsuba, and the tsuba’s responsibility and silver face have been renewed at our shop, so there is no tsuba noise. By all means, please take the sword fittings examination and pass it on to future generations.
Nude weight 664 grams. Weight of 954 grams that was put in the sword and the sheath was removed.
