Muneyu was a master of the new swordsman, Souji Koyama, and his name was Jiro Suzuki. Born in Hachinohe, Mutsu, he cut his first name as Munehisa, and during the Bunkyu era at the end of the Edo period, he was active as a builder of the 20,000 stones of the Nanbu Hachinohe Domain, which was a branch of the Morioka Domain. It has gained fame for its excellent sharpness, and some works have been cut off.

This sword has a wide width, a solid layer, and a finely kneaded ground iron with a thick ground boiling to create a plain wind, with a magnificent structure with an extended tip, no flaws, and a bright and clear ground blade. It is a work that is not an exaggeration to say that it is a work that is outstanding in Soyu. It is regrettable that the inscription is not cut even though it is such a result, but the attached sword is also elegant and in good condition, and it is a perfect gem both inside and outside as an art ornamental sword.

Nude weight 866 grams. Weight 1,119 grams that was put in the sword and the sheath was removed.
