The Uta faction flourished around the end of the Kamakura period, around Bunpo, when Koiri-do Kunimitsu moved to Etchu from Uda-gun, Yamato Province, and prospered throughout the Muromachi period.
Among them, the works from the end of the Kamakura period to the Northern and Southern Dynasties are called Kouta, and the works from the Muromachi period are called Uta.
The Uta school’s work has a strong Yamato temperament, and there are also places where it is related to Soshuden, and like this work, the skin with grain and grain is often seen on the board.
It is an army sword prepared with a naive Uta old sword discovered in Hyogo prefecture, and has been registered and polished at our shop.
The ground iron is well kneaded and textured with a heathered plate, and the scent is sinking, with Kowan and mutual eyes in a straight-edged manner, and a double-edged blade can be seen under the side. It is a work that you can enjoy as an art appreciation sword.
Please enjoy the freshly sharpened ground blade without any cloudiness.
