Traditional Ryokan
I stayed for 4 nights here with my friends. Overall was good, this place was very quiet, you can take a subway to Iriya Station and get out from exit 2 will be easier and then just cross a road and walk straight around 8-10 minutes. I love onsen bath, it was super cool when I walked all day and used it. Just only 1 station to Ueno. Would love to recommend if you come with friends.

love it
sakura ryokan situated near iriya station that has hibiya line that connect just one station away from ueno station that have local train connection to narita airport for only 80 mnt away or skyliner for 40 minutes away. you can walk from iriya station about 10 mnt if u walk slow like me. i check in with a nice woman that place me in room 405 that has a view to the street that i really love bcause i can see the sunrise through the window. their single room also equipped with bathtub that i really love too. Their ryokan is very comfort and quiet at first i thought their ryokan is empty but it was full of people as i reliase when i see all the room being clean in the morning. They have coin laundry for a 100 yen each washmachine and drier. i love it also. It is situated in a quiet area near asakusa area but it is wthin walking distance from sensoji temple.

Pretty Good Place
An overall good experience with enough negatives to warrant a 4/5. Positives: Quiet, nice room, good location (within walking distance of stations and Sensou-ji). Also have baths, and breakfast, which regrettably I wasn't able to try Negatives: Made me turn in my key every time I went out (???), and the Wi-Fi was spotty at best in my room, was perfectly fine in the lobby though. Pretty frustrating to not have proper Wi-Fi when travelling without a phone plan though.

Average
I'm glad I had data service to find my way from the Metro. Though after a couple of times it's very easy to find. The old man up front, I assume an owner, is a bit on the grumpy side. Apparently you're suppose to order breakfast the night before. His wife on the other hand is a sweetheart, and let me slide, making me Japanese breakfast never the less. The place is a bit dated. No lobby or nowhere to sit except your room or at the 3 breakfast tables. Rooms are average size for Tokyo, as is the bathroom....both are small. About a 10 minute walk to the metro / Hibuya line, a 5 minute walk to a 7/11 for coffee, breakfast or an ATM. If you're out most of the day and the price is right, this place will work.

Very traditional and cosy
Loved this Ryokan. It's a little tight, but if you want to experience a traditional Ryokan room then I recommend this place. It's not super flash and high end or anything but it's really quant and cosy. The only thing is that the guy in charge is a little grumpy. But he'll make you breakfast if you ask and for a descent amount.
