Beniayu Ryokan

Beniayu Ryokan is a lakefront property in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture. Overlooking Lake Biwako, the modern Japanese inn gives its guests a magnificent view of the waters and the landscape.

The 16 guest rooms in the ryokan fuse traditional Japanese design with contemporary interiors. With tatami mat floors and futon bedding, as well as yukata robes, guests will be able to experience Japanese ryokan culture with the comforts of today’s technology. Staying for one night can range from 35,000 to 80,000 JPY.
Beniayu Ryokan has a private open-air bath, as well as communal indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. To add to the relaxing experience, the ryokan also provides a massage chair, situated in a room where one can lay back and enjoy the view of Lake Biwako.
Other amenities also include a souvenir shop and a karaoke room. Beniayu Ryokan serves a multi-course kaiseki dinner, as well as a Japanese menu for breakfast.
To get to the ryokan, guests can take a car from Takasuki Station on the JR Hokuriku Main Line.
