Kayotei Inn

Kayotei Inn is a Japanese inn situated in a tranquil and peaceful area in a hot-spring town found in Ishikawa Prefecture.

The inn is a fusion of modern and traditional styles, which can be seen in its rooms. It boasts the quality of tatami mat flooring splashed with contemporary touches like its sculptures mixed with antique accessories.

The inn has a total of 10 rooms, which cost about 85,000 to 100,000 JPY per night.

Its rooms highlight elements like the paper doors, low tables, and hanging calligraphy decor on its wall. Two of its rooms slightly inclines out of the traditional circle and offer standard beds rather than futon beddings.

Other rooms feature open-air baths that vary in material, some made of wood and the other of stone while having an overlooking view of the mountains and woods.
The inn spotlights its hot spring baths that connect to its in-room and large communal baths that show off big windows that offer a view of the forest.
Kayotei also encourages its guests to participate in crafts and try the dining rooms where the kaiseki will be served. Its dishes proudly shouts locally sourced ingredients, especially its seafood cuisine and vegetables.
People can visit the Yamanaka Traditional Museum and other workshops near the area of Kayotei inn, which the staff would also kindly arrange upon request.
