Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel

Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel is a luxurious accommodation located in Kinugawa Onsen Ohara in Tochigi Prefecture. It features large Japanese-style and Western-style rooms.

All 39 rooms offer a wooden terrace with a view of Kinugawa River Valley and boasts of maximum comfort with its soundproofed walls, and a choice of pillows from feather, buckwheat husk, and Tempurpedic. Guests can also request an aroma diffuser or an in-room massage. Some rooms will have their own hot spring baths. One night’s stay can range from 60,000 to 95,000 JPY.
A unique take on the traditional multi-course meals, Kanaya Kaiseki Wakeiyosan is the hotel’s own creation. A culinary style that tailors traditional Japanese dishes to Western tastes. It utilizes modern and classic techniques from Western schools of cooking and is prepared with local seasonal ingredients sourced from Tochigi and around the country.
Alternatively, guests can choose the Kanaya Yuba Kaiseki Keiryusuinei that features river produce and seafood as well as seasonal vegetables from Nikko. A choice of Western and Japanese cuisine is served for breakfast, either in the guest rooms or in the dining room.
Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel offers a choice of an ancient cypress bath or the more modern four seasons bath--both of which use a schedule to alternate between male and female guests.

The ancient cypress baths feature two kinds of outdoor hot-spring baths, one made of white granite and of an ancient cypress tree. The four seasons bath features an indoor marble bath and two outdoor baths made of white granite. There is also a sauna and a gazebo for cooling off between baths.
