La Vista Akangawa

La Vista Akangawa is a modern riverside hotel along the Akan River in Kushiro, Hokkaido. The hotel is surrounded by a serene atmosphere created by nature.

Each of the 64 rooms boasts a rich view of the Akan River and is designed with cypress wood furniture to incorporate warmth and traditional Japanese interiors. There is a large communal bath, Yudokoro, with an open-air and an indoor option where one can commune with nature.

Alternatively, there are also three luxurious private baths to choose from: The brick bath “Hoshi no Yu”. the cypress bath “Tsuki no Yu”, and the pottery bath “Kaze no Yu”. One night’s stay can range from 10,000 to 20,000 JPY, with basic amenities provided accordingly.

The hotel also has a restaurant, “Wakka Pirika, a lounge, “Pokkenui”, a shop, “Koropokuru”, a healing place, “Yumego”, and a night bar, “Kant”.

La Vista Akangawa can be accessed through Akan Crossing Road (National Route 240) by car, a shuttle bus service is also provided via reservation. The hotel is operating normally with pandemic measures in place to prevent the spread of infection.
