Otsuki Hotel Wafuukan

Otsuki Hotel Wafuukan is a traditional Japanese inn located in Atami Onsen, Shizuoka Prefecture. It features 28 Japanese-style rooms fitted with tatami mat flooring, shoji paper screen doors, and a sitting area with low furniture.

Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and a bathroom with a set of toiletries. Guests are also provided with yukata robes and a green tea set for the duration of their stay. Some rooms come with a stone open-air bath. One night’s stay will range from 15,000 to 50,000 JPY.

Otsuki Hotel Wafukan boasts of its hot spring baths, one, in particular, that is an open-air bath made with 300-year-old Maki Takano wood. Large communal baths are offered for the guests’ enjoyment, both indoor and open-air.
Full course kaiseki meals and breakfasts are provided for the guests, delicately prepared by the restaurant, “Nanae” from seasonal, local ingredients, and features seafood from the Izu area. Otsuki Hotel Wafukan has a lobby lounge and its own shop as well.
Otsuki Hotel Wafukan can be accessed by JR Shinkansen from Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station. The establishment is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
