Ryokan Kanade Kyoto

Ryokan Kanade, alternatively known as Koto Heian no Yado Kanade or simply Kanade, is a traditional Japanese style inn located in Sakyo Ward in Kyoto. Also referred to as a “hidden inn”, Kanade is tucked in a quiet residential area, but still a short distance away from tourist spots.

It features a 170-year-old Japanese garden, “Sou” which guests can stroll in or view from the terraces in their rooms.
There are 20 rooms in the building, all of which are designed with traditional Japanese elements, with their price ranging from 10,000 to 35,000 JPY. The inn also offers 3 types of private open-air baths, which can be reserved in advance.
Also known as a culinary inn, Kanade takes pride in their Kyoto Kaiseki--which the chef prepares delicately with fresh local ingredients.
Kanade can be accessed from Kyoto Station then a fifteen-minute drive to the property.

The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
