Ryokan Shimizu

Shimizu, or Ryokan Shimizu, is a Japanese style inn located in Shimogyo ward in Kyoto, Japan. The traditional inn offers an authentic, casual experience for its guests, with opportunities ranging from private calligraphy workshops to donning a Kimono.

The rooms feature traditional Japanese designs, with tatami mat floors and futon bedding. In addition to the private baths in the guest rooms, the inn also offers large hot-spring-like baths with aromatics and seasonal fruits. Both baths are reserved for private use for the guests. Staying for one night may range from 7,000 - 12,000 JPY.
The meals served for the guests are fresh selections of locally grown produce, chosen and purchased by the owner himself. To complete the Kyoto experience, they also offer a rental bike for the guests to enjoy and explore the city to the fullest.
Ryokan Shimizu Kyoto can be accessed from Tokyo Station to JR Kyoto Station.

The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
