Seiranso Ryokan, Yugawara

Seiranso Ryokan is a traditional Japanese inn located in Hakone Yugawara Onsen in Kanagawa Prefecture. The establishment was built over 80 years ago and features an outdoor bath right next to Hakuryu Falls, making it a favorite among visitors for years.

The ryokan has 48 rooms that hold the same quality and atmosphere as when it was first built in the Showa Period (1926-1989), with some rooms fitted with a private hot spring bath. The guest rooms have tatami mats and futon beds and feature wide windows overlooking nature. Some rooms have their own hot spring bath. One night’s stay can range from 15,000 to 40,000 JPY.
Alternatively, guests are welcome to enjoy the communal hot spring baths--five indoor baths and an open-air bath.
Other facilities include two gardens with a koi pond, a banquet hall, and a kids’ playroom.
Breakfast and dinner are served to the guests in their room as well as multi-course kaiseki cuisine, with dishes featuring seasonal local ingredients from Suruga Bay and Sagami Bay.
Seiranso Ryokan is accessible by taking the JR Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Yugawara Station. The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
