Shirayu no Yado Yamadaya

Shirayu no Yado Yamadaya is a traditional Japanese inn located in Gora Hakone in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The inn features Japanese-style rooms fitted with tatami mat flooring and futon beds and a sitting area with low furniture with windows looking out into the mountainside.

Each of the 15 rooms is equipped with a flat-screen television, air conditioning, and heating facilities, as well as a refrigerator. Some rooms have their own private baths. Staying for one night may range in price from 15,000 to 50,000 JPY.

Private baths are also available, from the indoor and open-air, for reservation by the guests, as well as a large communal open-air bath.
Yamadaya offers its guests meals from the restaurant, each dish is seasonal and features local ingredients, to be served in the guest rooms or the dining room of the inn.
Shirayu no Yado Yamadaya is accessible by taking the Odakyu Limited Express from Shinjuku Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station, then Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station, where a free shuttle service can be provided upon request. The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
