Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in Temple

Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in is a traditional Buddhist temple and accommodation with a thousand-year-old history. It has a beautiful garden and is Wi-fi accessible. Guests are encouraged to attend the Buddhist morning service and the Goma fire ritual.

Its rooms are complete in tatami-mat flooring, futon bedding, and paper sliding doors. Its rooms cost 20,000 to 40,000 JPY per night, including bathroom facilities. The place also features public hot spring baths where guests can spend time for relaxation.
Shukubo temple is near the Kongobu-ji Temple and the Okuno-In Temple.

Guests are encouraged to participate in meditation where they can write using brush and ink on scrolls inside their rooms. Activities like hiking are also encouraged.

The location is accessible by train from Koyasan Station. Due to COVID-19, guests must book under the guidelines implemented by the Government of Japan.
