Nishinomaru Garden

Nishinomaru Garden Nishinomaru Garden, Reginald Pentinio

Nishinomaru Garden is in Osaka Castle. It is a beautiful Garden with 600 Sakura trees. It is one of the most beautiful places to go to in the springtime in Osaka. It is especially nice with its beautiful laws and breathtaking cherry blossoms.

The garden was once the location of the residence of Kita-no-mandokoro who was the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is a wonderful place to have a picnic or have some tea in the springtime, and in the northeast corner of the garden is the tea house Hoshoan, ready to serve you traditional Japanese tea. It is open from 9 am to 5 pm from March to October daily, or it is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm November to February daily. It takes around 25 minutes to get to the Garden by train from Osaka station.
