Rickshaw Kyoto Tour Gion - 45min

Jinriki sha in kyoto

Riding on a traditional Japanese rickshaw with EBISUYA is one of the most popular activities for tourists in all of Japan. Unlike with a taxi or bus, with a rickshaw you can see all of the great secret destinations and explore like a local. Our drivers in their traditional Japanese uniforms will lead an exciting adventure where you can learn about amazing places to eat and of course about the culture and history of the town. It's time to go beyond the guidebook. An EBISUYA Rickshaw tour is a must if you are in Japan!

The following is a suggested route for this 45min rickshaw tour:

At the center of this quaint town with its cobble stone streets is the Yasaka Shrine and the iconic Yasaka Pagoda. This compact rickshaw tour is popular, because it serves as a great introduction to the old town of Kyoto. Start your trip at the Ichinenzaka, close to the Kodaiji Temple. From there your guide will take you along the cobble stone streets, which is guaranteed to take you back in time. The buildings still have the traditional facades and lanterns at the entrances. Enjoy the Maruyama Park with its gorgeous cherry blossoms in the spring or the magical foliage in autumn. Returning to your departure point you will be guided through the streets of Gion.

The tour described above is a model route. It may further be customized based on your preferred starting and ending point,  as well as points of interests. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.
