Until what time can I keep the rental kimono?

The final kimono return time is 6:00 PM. After the photo session, guests may continue wearing the rental kimono for sightseeing until then.

From what age can children wear kimono?

Children aged 3 and older can wear kimono, depending on size and availability on the day.

What large kimono sizes are available?

Large-size kimono are available up to approximately 180 cm waist circumference for men and 150 cm waist circumference for women. Please note that extra-large 6L kimono stock is limited, usually around 2 to 3 pieces per location.

Are men's kimono and children's kimono available?

Yes. We prepare kimono for women, men and children, making this plan suitable for couples, families and groups.

Can I choose hair ornaments?

Yes. Guests can choose hair ornaments that match their kimono, the season and their mood. For male guests, hair ties are available if they would like to gather longer hair.

Can I return the kimono to another MAIKOYA location?

No. Please return your rental kimono to the same MAIKOYA location where you received it. Returns to other MAIKOYA locations are not available.

Is next-day kimono return available?

No. Next-day return is not available for this plan. Please return the kimono by 6:00 PM on the day of your experience.

Can pregnant guests wear kimono?

Kimono dressing may be possible depending on your condition. To avoid pressure around the abdomen, the kimono will be fitted more gently than usual, which may affect the final appearance. Because kimono and traditional footwear may feel unfamiliar, please prioritize comfort and safety, wear your own comfortable shoes, and take extra care around steps in the building and garden. We recommend contacting us in advance if you have any concerns.

How will I receive my photos?

Your 50 professionally edited high-resolution digital photos will be sent by Google Drive to the email address used for your reservation within 7 days after the experience date.
