Okuyugawara Yui

Okuyugawara Yui is a small luxury inn located in Hakone Onsen, Kanagawa Prefecture. It features a Japanese garden and terraced rooms overlooking the stream and waterfall of Fujiki River.

The property has 11 Japanese style and Japanese-Western style rooms with open-air hot spring baths, as well as indoor hot-spring baths or a private garden. All the rooms are fitted with tatami mats, and come with a refrigerator and an air purifier.

Along with some basic necessities and luxuries afforded by the inn, guests are also provided with yukata robes for the duration of their stay. Each night may range from 70,000 to 140,000 JPY.

Additionally, Okuyugawara Yui has a large communal open-air bath with an unobstructed view of the forest in the area. The hot spring water quality, “Scratch Hot Spring”, is composed of sodium, calcium, chloride, and sulfur that has long been known for its healing properties especially for wounds, as well as moisturizes the skin.

Nearby attractions include the Mishima Skywalk, Lake Ashinoko, Hakone Shrine, and Owakudani. Okuyugawara Yui is accessible by taking the JR Limited Express from Tokyo Station to Yugawara Station. The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
