Miho Okamoto

I am a tour guide who lives in Kyoto, Japan. Having a college degree in English Literature, I love reading, classical music and travel. After traveling to more than 10 countries, I realized that I need to study my own culture more to understand different cultures. Thus in the past 5 years, I spent a lot of time practicing tea ceremony, kimono, washoku and ikebana in addition to studying the history of temples, shrines and historic sites in Kansai. Kyoto is full of surprises and I feel priviledged to have a chance to share what I know with people from all around the world.
