Please be advised that due to renovation work in the main building, the elevator will be out of service during the period below.
1. Elevator Out-of-Service Period
January 24, 2026 – February 19, 2026
During this time, access between floors will be by stairs only.
Please note that access may be difficult for visitors using strollers or wheelchairs.
Strollers can also be stored on the first floor if needed.
2. Construction Noise and Museum Tours
Dates with Significant Noise: January 24, 29, 30, 31, and February 2 (mornings only)
Guided tours will operate as usual, but please understand that noise may make it difficult to hear explanations at certain times.
We can assist with changing your booking, including transferring to another branch or adjusting the date and time. No discounts will be offered due to the construction.
Other branches have operational elevators and offer easier access for visitors using strollers or wheelchairs.

②If the clothes you buy Japan is over 3L, the armor will not fit you.
③You are permitted to bring covered drinks, such as bottled water or beverages in a thermos/reusable bottle, into the building. However, please refrain from consuming any food or drink (including hydration) in the exhibition rooms. Furthermore, bringing in or consuming any alcoholic beverages (liquor) is strictly prohibited throughout the entire facility. This is an important rule to ensure the safety of both our visitors and our valuable exhibits.
