Yoshitada was a swordsmith who was active in Yamato from the latter half of the early Edo period to Genroku, and prospered as a descendant knife smith. Although it is not described in great detail in the inscription, it is probably a hand-scratched swordsmith, and from the fact that it is inscribed in the left character, it is probable that there was a deep exchange with Mutsu no Kami Yoshiyuki. I will.
This sword is a work in which the sword is made by baking a slightly fluffy ground iron with a sword that reminds us of a sword. With a sword, sand currents and gold streaks can be seen in the blade, and various functions such as flying-style blades and extermination can be seen. It was trained in the areas of Enpo, Tenna, and Jokyo, which still retains the remnants of the new Kanbun sword, which dates back to the times. Isn’t it an influenced work? Both the ground blades are sharp, and it is a masterpiece that makes you feel the high skill of Yoshitada, and the long length of 2 shaku, 4 inch and 8 minutes is also attractive.
