Toyako Onsen

Toyako is a town located on the island of Hokkaido, a place known for a large number of resorts and accommodations that offer hot spring facilities. These onsens are sometimes near a volcanic lake called Toya. The onsens have garnered the recommendations and approvals of several visitors coming from different countries worldwide. Some of the resorts often offer areas that show the view of the lake since it is the most notable site of the location.

Established in 1930, Usu Eruption Memorial Park is also a short distance away from onsen locations, where guests can buy delicacies as souvenirs for themselves or their loved ones. Toyako onsen areas are accessible by train coming from Tokyo or rides from Shin-Chitose Airport.
