Hidatei Hanaougi

Hidatei Hanaougi is a traditional Japanese inn located in Honobu-machi, Takayama. It has traditional Japanese guest rooms that cost around 40,000 to 60,000 JPY per night, with open-air baths in some of the rooms.

Guests can also enjoy public baths, foot baths, and a rental bath that can be enjoyed by friends and family. For more relaxation, visitors can experience the on-site massage and take a stroll in the garden.

Guests can choose from the dining rooms of Hidatei Hanaougi. The hotel has a restaurant that serves authentic Japanese cuisine with its kaiseki dinner. There is also another restaurant that specializes in noodles, while guests can also freely discuss matters over tea and coffee at the lounge.

Takayama is currently a place restricted for traveling due to the coronavirus, but tourists are welcome to plan their activities once border restrictions are lifted.


The location is near Hida Kokubun Temple and Hidatakayama Museum, where guests can visit during their stay at the inn. Hidatei Hanaougi offers free transport from JR Takayama Station and also encourages free use of their bicycles.
