Hotel with stunning view in winter
We have booked a room for 3 people and there were amenities set up for 2 people only in the room, it was some effort to communicate with the front desk to get things sorted. Other than that, it was nice experience, the onsen was good and the buffet offered great variety of food with good quality. It was a long journey (about 7-8 hours from Sapporo) to the hotel, but the magnificent view of drift ice on the sea really worth it.

sea of okhotsk right infront of u
booked the seaview room. too bad no drift ice. but a great view of the sea. big hotel with 3 wings and a big onsen. buffet dinners and breakfasts with lots of food. location was right in middle of town with restaurants and mini marts beside and opposite.

THE best resort hotel in Shiretoko
This is without a doubt one of the most amazing hotels I have ever been to in Japan. Its huge but doesn't feel too big. It offers a good onsen, amazing views around, an unbelievable amount of comfort in the rooms and public areas and of course- an amazing buffet that will totally ruin your diet 🙂 worth the price.

A touch of luxury among the rugged landscape
We stayed two nights in the Sea View Twin. Being recently renovated, the room was very nice and had picture windows that looked out over the harbour. We did not spend all that much time in the hotel itself as our days and nights were packed with activities in the Shiretoko Peninsula. I suppose the noteworthy aspects included the delicious Venison dinner (we upgraded from the standard buffet on the second night) and the large laundry room with five washers and five dryers. It's a little expensive but it's the best in the area by far.

Nice onsen hotel
What a lovely place. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Totally pampered myself in the onsen with marvellous view of the ocean. Priceless. Buffet spread was international mixed with local delicacies. Kids all enjoyed the soft powdery snow. Must try.
