Ryokan Motonago is a traditional Japanese inn located in Higashiyama and has won the recommendation of the Michelin Guide.

Its rooms are based on traditional Japanese design that cost between 25,000 to 40,000 JPY per night, with complete tatami mat flooring and futon bedding. Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and flat-screen televisions for personal entertainment.

The ryokan offers public hot spring bath facilities that can be enjoyed by guests. Its public bath can also be reserved for private use. When onsens are full, guests can opt for massage treatments. The inn also invites its guests to try the dining options they offer.

Its location is near to Yasaka Shrine and the Kiyomizu-dera Temple which can be visited by guests during their stay at the inn. Those who are interested to stay at the inn can take rides coming from Shijo and Kawaramachi Stations.

Due to COVID-19, guests must book under the guidelines implemented by the Government of Japan.
