Shuhoukaku Kogetsu is a resort inn located in the rural district of the Yamanashi Prefecture.

Yamanashi itself draws attention to travelers as it is home to the famed Mount Fuji. Staying at this inn gives people a view of the iconic landmark and tallest landform of Japan from its lakeside area.

Here is where guests can view lakes and appreciate the beauty of nature during their time of relaxation. It is considered one of the top ryokans of Japan.

Shuhoukaku Kogetsu has rooms designed in traditional Japanese style complete in tatami-mat flooring, and Japanese-Western style. The resort has a total of 45 rooms which cost around 25,000 to 60,000 JPY per night which includes a balcony that offers a scenic view of the mighty Mount Fuji and some having open-air hot spring baths. Some rooms also feature a wooden terrace where guests can take a breath of fresh air or dip their feet in their private footbaths.

The ryokan offers guests dinner which can either be served in their room or the dining area of the rooms. Their dishes boast mostly local products based on the season.

Other amenities are its hot spring baths where guests can take their time when relaxing and can also see the view of Lake Kawaguchi for a refreshing experience of nature.

Sites like the Itchiku Kubota Art Museum are just a drive away from the inn so guests can explore these other attractions.

Travelers can take the bus from the Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal or a ride coming from the Kawaguchiko Station.

Taking temperatures, disinfection, and other protective measures have been implemented by Shuhoukaku Kogetsu to give priority to the health of its guests and staff.
