⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had the most amazing time here. The food alone was well worth the price and they provided an open bar. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a delux western Japanese room—it was calm and relaxing. Such a great way to end our trip. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
So lovely!! The staff is so nice and accommodating. We don't speak Japanese, so they did whatever they could to talk with us. The natural springs were so lovely. I loved having our own hot spring source in our room!! I hope I can come back one day!

I am absolutely obsessed with Suizantei Club. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night after 7 days of snowboarding and it was exactly what our bodies needed. Spectacular service at a beautiful hotel, with delicious food. Ippo catered to us during our stay and his wonderfully positive attitude and helpfulness, made our stay perfect. Thank you Ippo!

Best ryokan to go if you Want peace and calmness and with excellent detailed services.
Best ryokan to go if you Want peace and calmness and with excellent detailed services. Only adults and with less than 20 suites. You can definitely have peace of mind to rest and relax calmly. Food is beyond my expectation Service is impeccable; felt pampered and taken care of the moment we park our car at lobby. And the most friendly and talented bartender, Mr Narita to end your night with great drinks and conversation!

Quiet hideaway
First time having teppanyaki at a ryokan. Really excellent quality food, everything is fresh and tasty. Breakfast is a little simpler than other ryokans (though still very sumptuous and more than enough; it’s just too easy to get spoilt in Japan). We had a spa room and very nice to have an in-room onsen. The public bath is rather small but there aren’t that many guests in the hotel even when it’s full so it doesn’t get too busy. This place is slightly away from the river running through Jozankei so unfortunately it doesn’t have the great views enjoyed by some of the bigger hotels in the area.

Its like a mini private club like the name.
From being picked up from Sapporo till being sent off back to the city. This hotel I would rate in my top 2-3 hotspring hotel. I did rely on my friend in Japan to help me to notified the hotel for my bus booking. T+3 to get a seat booked. We were taken to our room to fill in the form to check in, not at the lobby. First time in my life who that was able to check in lie that. Hotspring was nice, since the population staying at the Club is small, literally fee like having your own hotspring by yourself. Meal the most memorizing thing for me is the use of O-toro, I ate them everything I go to Japan but few meals that I was served, they were top class o-toro that melt in my mouth. The evening drinking session provided at the club is good. Barman is nice, tries to make conversation and I just let him serve me whatever he wants on my 2nd day. The fridge also have beer, water and sake which get refilled if drank. There was a lady with pretty good English that checked me in but forgot her name. As trying to get to 2 other group hotel, as long as you tell them to get back to club, they know where you live. There is a van service that goes to all the group hotels. I would go back anytime once I saved enough money. It is quite a big ask doing USD$300+ per person but it was well worth it. Save your cash for getaway from busy life cos this place really did relaxed me.

A small quiet luxury ryokan
Transportation: they offer free shuttle bus from Sapporo to the hotel at 2:30pm near Odori Park. You need to call ahead to make reservation. On the way over, the bus was pretty much full. It first stopped at Daiichi Hotel, then we took a smaller van that took us to the ryokan. They offer 2 return shuttles back to Sapporo. One at 9:45, and the other at 1:00 pm departing from Daiichi Hotel. We chose the 1pm one so we would have some time to explore the town. There were only 7 people on the return bus. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the main street. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we head back once we reached the main street and didn't have a chance to explore what the main street had to offer. Check In: as we walked into the hotel, we were asked to take off our shoes and wear the slippers they provided us. Our shoes were then taken away. The check in was done in our room. The staff spoke limited English but sufficient enough for us to know what is going on. You can wear the yukata they provided throughout the ryokan. There's also pajama available for you to wear at night. Bar: they offer free drinks in the afternoon and after dinner from 8-11. Onsen: there are one for men and one for women and they switch overnight. In each one, there's an indoor and an outdoor hot spring. There's also sauna. In the changing room, they provide pretty much everything you would need except body lotion. Because this is a small establishment (total 14 rooms), I only saw one person (or none)at a time in the onsen which gave you a quiet time to relax and enjoy yourself. Meals: our package includes 10 course keiseki dinner and breakfast. I thought we would be served in a restaurant, but it turned out we had our own private room for both meals. It was an culinary delight. The food may not favored your tastes every time, but the presentation was just beautiful. The waitress explained each course in English so we know what we were eating. Breakfast took place at the same place. Instead of serving each course in dinner, everything was set out at once for breakfast. I think the food was delicious and well presented. Room: we had semi western room that has 2 beds, so they set up a futon mattress in the other room for my son while we were having dinner. The room was just big. It has a TV/sitting room, a bed room with a separate sitting area, entry room, and you can enjoy hot spring in the wooden tub in your own bathroom. There are plenty of complimentary drink available in the refrigerator. All in all, even though the one night stay didn't come cheap, we felt welcomed by the staff and truly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this property.
