Gion Ryokan Karaku
Gion Ryokan Karaku is not just an ordinary traditional ryokan. It is called ryori ryokan. They focus on what they serve on their dinner tables.
Their menu includes Kyo kaiseki, a traditional Kyoto-style course meal. During dinner time, you can enjoy fresh locally grown vegetables and seasonal ingredients. Popular hot pot dishes, shabushabu (wagyu beef, pork, seafood), chanko, to name a few to be served to satisfy your appetite.

Kyoto Ryokan Kinoe
It is a traditional Japanese-style ryokan situated in the popular Gion district which is known as the home of Geisha. Kyoto Ryokan ” The KINOE” is close to tourist attractions such as Yasaka Shrine, Kodai-ji Temple.
Kennin-ji Temple which was constructed in the early 1200s and well-known as the first Zen Temple in Kyoto is also located nearby. The founder of the temple, Yosai introduced tea drinking customs into Japan upon returning from China where he studied Buddhism. The temple is also famous for the dragon images painted on the ceiling of the Dharma Hall.
