Hakone Gora Byakudan

Hakone Gora Byakudan is a small luxury inn located in Hakone Onsen, Kanagawa. The inn has 16 elegant rooms, each with their own open-air baths with hot-spring water sourced directly from the onsen, as well as terraces that overlook the surrounding nature.

The interiors have a traditional Japanese-style design–tatami mat flooring and low furniture that use light wood textures. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a refrigerator, a flat-screen television, along with other basic amenities.

Yukata robes are also provided for the guests for the duration of their stay. One night in any of the rooms may range from 70,000 to 100,000 JPY.

In addition to the private baths in the rooms, guests can also opt to use the large public baths. The facility offers a spa treatment as well.

Kaiseki Cuisine is also offered, featuring seasonal ingredients sourced from Manazuru, Sagami Bay, and Hakone Isu. Guests can also enjoy nearby tourist attractions such as Lake Ashinoko, Hakone Shrine, Gotemba Premium Outlets, Hakone Gora Park, Hakone Meissen Antique Museum, Pola Museum of Art, the Venetian Glass Museum, Rene Lalique Museum, and Owakudani.

Hakone Gora Byakudan is accessible by taking the Odakyu Limited Express from Shinjuku Station to Hakone-Yumoto Station, then Hakone Tozan Railway to Kowakidani Station. A pick-up service from Kowakidani Station is also provided upon request.

The inn is operating normally with safety measures in place and limited acceptance to prevent the spread of infection.
